EDGE Node - PCTB100

The PCTB100 EDGE Node is an ultra-thin, battery-free sensor tag designed for real-time monitoring and asset tracking at the EDGE.Powered by RF energy from UHF sources, including Powercast EDGE Hubs such as the PowerSpot®, the PCTB100 operates continuously without batteries. It captures temperature and humidity data and transmits it via Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE), enabling seamless integration into monitoring systems and mobile applications.As a persistent data endpoint, the PCTB100 delivers continuous environmental insights for EDGE systems and AI-driven applications—without maintenance, wiring, or battery replacement.The Powercast BLE smartphone app enables real-time monitoring of multiple tags simultaneously. The PCTB100 is currently available as a sub-assembly and development kit.
