Quick & Easy Building Access Control

The RFID reader antenna is integrated into the company’s check-in counter, enabling fast, hands-free screening

The new system is comprised of a wirelessly-powered temperature-scanning fob for each employee, an RFID reader, and a TV monitor. Employees receive a fob small enough to fit onto their keychain that is personalized to them.

Technical Specifications

  • Size: 73mm x 42mm x 11mm
  • Compatible with any typical RAIN RFID reader (ISO 18000-63 compliant, Gen2V2 compliant)
  • Includes Powercast’s PCC110 Powerharvester® RF-to-DC Converter Chip for battery-free operation
  • Integrated RGB LED indicates when fob is ready to take a temperature reading
  • Optimal power-up distance within 15cm of RFID antenna
  • RFID read range up to 3.5m of RFID antenna
  • Basic software package
    • Interfaces fob with RFID reader
