Powercast provides efficient RF energy harvesting with its Powerharvester® chips and modules, and reliable long-distance power with its versatile range of transmitters.
RF-to-DC Converter Chips and Modules
Powercast’s Powerharvester® RF-to-DC Converter Chips are the core component which convert RF energy to DC power. When paired with tuning components and an antenna, these chips can harvest RF energy from 10MHz to 6GHz.
Powercast’s Powerharvester® Receiver Modules are simple to integrate, and are recommended for low volume, easy to implement designs. Powercast’s modules include all matching components for receiving RF wireless power at 915MHz.
True Wireless Power
Powercast’s transmitters provide a reliable source of wireless energy to power, over a distance, to devices equipped with Powerharvester® receivers. Currently we have three transmitters available. The Powerspot X® Transmitter, the PowerSpot® Transmitter and the Powercaster ® Transmitter. All transmitters broadcasts radio waves in the unlicensed 915MHz band for remote power and data.

The PowerSpot (TX91503) Transmitter broadcasts radio waves in the unlicensed 915MHz ISM band for remote power and data. Designed for use with Powerharvester Receivers, the transmitter and receivers operate as an end-to-end system to wirelessly charge batteries for consumer applications.

The TX91501B Powercaster®Transmitter broadcasts radio waves in the unlicensed 915MHz ISM band for remote power and data. Designed for use with Powerharvester® Receivers, the transmitter and receivers operate as an end-to-end system to wirelessly trickle charge batteries or operate battery-free devices for commercial and industrial applications. The data broadcast can be used for location tracking or authentication of the transmitter or end device. The TX91501B-3W provides power and data at 40-50 feet when using the P2110B Powerharvester® and the directional antenna included in the P2110-EVB kit.
