At the heart of Powercast EFGE nodes is the Powerharvester® - an RF-to-DC converter chip that enables enabling EDGE Nodes to operate within a wireless power environment. These components convert RF energy into usable DC power, allowing devices to function continuously without wires or frequent battery replacement.
When paired with antennas and matching components, Powerharvester chips can harvest energy across a wide frequency range from 10MHz to 6GHz—providing flexibility across applications and environments.
Powerharvester receiver modules simplify integration, combining required components into ready-to-use solutions. These modules are ideal for low-volume or rapid deployment designs, enabling fast implementation of Hub-and-Node systems operating at 915MHz.
